Description

This mandatory 8-hour class has been designed to provide the initial training required by the Alabama Security Regulatory Board (ASRB) for licensure as an unarmed security officer in Alabama. The class is divided into eleven modules: Alabama Security Guard Law & Regulatory Overview; Introduction to Private Security; Alabama Security Guard Law – State-Specific Legal Issues; Legal Foundations & Ethics; Appropriate Use of Force in Alabama; The Appropriate Use of Force; Crisis Intervention and De-Escalation; Patrol Procedures and Observation; Emergency Response; Public Interaction and Customer Service; and Specialized Security Knowledge.

You will be allotted a period of 30 days to complete this course. Please note that no refunds will be issued once the course has commenced.
